Children's Day Picnic Organized by the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy in Beirut

On May 31, 2025, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut organized a Children’s Day picnic in the park of one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the Middle East — College Notre-Dame de Jamhour, run by the Jesuit order. The event was made possible thanks to the support of Father Marek Cieślik, Director of the school and an active member of the Polish diaspora in Lebanon.
The celebration began with a Holy Mass in Polish, which was met with strong attendance from the local Polish community.
The picnic brought together several dozen participants, including children, teenagers, and parents, all of whom eagerly joined in sports activities and games.
As with our previous gatherings, the event also highlighted ecological and educational themes. As part of our ongoing initiative to commemorate the Polish presence in Lebanon, additional trees were planted during the picnic — this time olive trees — by members of the Polish diaspora.
