Consular Crisis Group Meeting in Beirut - Part of the Polish EU Presidency

On June 4th, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut organized a full-day meeting attended by consuls from EU Member States, Canada, and staff of the Delegation of the European Union in Beirut. The event was held within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the EU and took place in an outdoor setting.
The aim of the meeting was to enhance cooperation in crisis situations and to exchange experiences in providing consular assistance to citizens of the European Union and like-minded countries.
The discussions also covered current travel advisories and the possibilities for better coordination of consular messaging in the region.
The event was an important step toward strengthening cooperation between EU Member States and partners with a similar approach to consular affairs.
