IMPORTANT NOTICE - NEW CONSULAR FEE TARIFF AND FEE TABLE EFFECTIVE FROM 01.01.2026
01.01.2026
We kindly inform you that as of January 1, 2026, a new consular fee tariff has come into effect, introduced by the regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of October 29, 2025, amending the regulation on consular fees (Journal of Laws, item 1523). The new, higher fee rates apply to all applications submitted from January 1, 2026, and will be enforced at all Polish consular offices.
Why are consular fees changing?
The consular fees that have been in effect so far have mostly remained unchanged for about 10 years, and some of them since 2013. During this period, the costs of labor, inflation (especially during the years 2021–2023), and the operational costs of offices, including service and shipping costs, have increased significantly.
As a result, it has been decided to adjust consular fees to the current socio-economic realities, which practically means an increase in most fees by approximately 20–25%.
Passport Fees
As of January 1, 2026, the new fees for issuing a temporary passport outside office hours are as follows:
- 118 USD – for issuing a temporary passport outside office hours
- 200 USD – for issuing a temporary passport on a public holiday
