Polish Aid supports students in Lebanon
29.05.2025
On May 20th, 2025, the Polish Ambassador to Lebanon Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe visited the St. Sauveur school in Jeita, Lebanon where, thanks to Polish Aid funds, two development projects were implemented in order to provide the youngest with a safe space for sport activities and equip a chemical laboratory for teenage pupils.
Thanks to Polish interventions, the little ones gained a place where they can train not only their bodies, but also minds by developing social skills.
The teenagers received a modern school laboratory with a set of high-quality elements. The aim of the project was to support the students with competences and prepare them for their future professional careers. Experiments teach meticulousness, good organization and planning.
During the visit, the students presented a cultural program presenting Polish customs and traditions. The youngest danced the Krakowiak dance, and the oldest acted out theatrical scenes describing the most important monuments of the Polish history and the most beautiful places of our homeland. The whole event had an extremely uplifting character and was filled with joy and gratitude for the help provided.
