As part of the Polish Aid Programme in Lebanon, the Autism Awareness Association received funds for sensory room.

The Autism Awareness Association is an association founded by parents of children and adults with non-functional autism. Due to the long-term economic crisis in Lebanon, there are no educational and care facilities for people with disabilities in the area. AAA operates largely thanks to private commitments of the families.

The Polish Aid grant allowed AAA to renovate of one of the organization's rooms and equip it with sensory devices - touch, hearing and light. Sensory exercises help the students to develop their skills.
