On April 12th, 2019, a ceremonial Transfer of Authority (ToA) took place at Camp Shamrock in Lebanon.

The ceremony was attended by, among others, Chargé d’Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Beirut, Dr. Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe, Defense Attaché Lt. Col. Mateusz Grzesiak, Commander of Sector West, Brig. Gen. Nicola Mandolesi, and Commander of IRISHPOLBATT Lt. Col. Shane Rockett. The RSZ Operational Commander was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations - Head of Division, Brig. Gen. Jarosław Chojnacki.
