Poland sees modern maritime education as a key factor for future success. We are of the opinion that the international maritime community needs well-educated people who understand the development of high-tech solutions, autonomous shipping, cyber security and shipping in polar waters.
Education in Polish maritime universities complies with the requirements of the STCW, MARPOL and SOLAS Conventions
The universities operate world-class specialist simulation laboratories that offer simulations of standard and emergency situations (collision avoidance, fire on a vessel, LNG terminal, ECDIS simulator etc.)
