32nd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG)

The 32nd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), in which the secretary of state in the ministry of defence Paweł Zalewski participated, was held on 16 December. The discussions were chaired by the ministers of defence of Great Britain and Germany
Priority needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2026, as well as directions of continued strengthening of Ukraine’s defensive potential, were discussed. Representatives from the Ukrainian ministry of defence have presented an analysis of the frontline situation and defined their expectations regarding the acquisition of critical capabilities. Partners have noted fulfilled donations to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the plans of military support in the coming year, including anti-air defence, artillery shells supply and drones. The meeting was also an opportunity to show the commitments of Partners towards the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) programme.
Deputy minister P. Zalewski noted the unwavering support for Ukraine and informed of the donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine fulfilled by Poland (artillery shells), as well as Poland’s commitment to PURL (100 mln USD)
