NATO consistently strengthens deterrence and defense capabilities

15.02.2024

"Poland is one of the leaders of NATO countries. During my speech I emphasized spending on the armed forces, on national defense. We are the leader among NATO countries, we spend the most in relation to our GDP, more than 4%. More than 50% of the funds are spent on modernization of the military. This is extremely important for us, we show and set a good example. (…) This is vital in the context of the ongoing discussion, fulfilling the strategic goals" the head of the Ministry of Defense said after a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
