- This is an important date in the history of our cooperation within NATO. The venture that we run together with our friends from Slovakia gets new shape. US representatives join us, so together we bring real value when it comes to the Center of Excellence on counteracting the activities of foreign intelligence services. Together we are stronger - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence on Monday in Krakow.

- Joint allies' response to disinformation campaigns is important for NATO, systemic solutions are needed (...) On behalf of Poland, I propose that during this year's NATO Summit in London, heads of states and governments should sign a declaration on the efficient flow of information between defence ministries of individual NATO countries and between headquarters of the Alliance - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence at the NATO Information and Communication Conference 2019.

- Poland has joined today the small group of countries where US troops are permanently stationed. One and a half years of negotiations, talks. We have proved that we can negotiate as equals. We have the effect of our work. This is undoubtedly a great day when it comes to Poland's security and the security of NATO countries. It is an important day when it comes to the history of Poland - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the minister of national defence in New York, where on Monday the presidents of Poland and the USA signed the Joint Declaration on Advancing Defense Cooperation.

- Cooperation within the Visegrad Group is undoubtedly beneficial for all our countries. It is beneficial to the security of our citizens - said Mariusz Błaszczak, head of the Ministry of National Defence after the meeting of defence ministers of the V4 countries in Ostrava.

- We have had good military cooperation with Romania for years. Polish soldiers are stationed in Romania and cooperate with Romanian and US soldiers there. Romanian soldiers are present in Poland and train together with Polish, US, British and Croatian armies. This cooperation is very close - said Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak in Bucharest.

- The decision of the United States Department of State approving the sale of 32 state-of-the-art F-35 aircraft to Poland means that we are getting closer to this contract. This is the most important contract in history for the Polish Armed Forces, it is the introduction of Polish Air Force into a new era. This is the creation of the capabilities for the air force, that they haven’t had so far - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence.

On September 1, a celebration commemorating the 80th anniversary of World War II took place in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence, attended state ceremonies with the participation of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda and the Vice President of the USA M. Pence.

- We talked about Polish-US relations. They are the best ever. (...) We talked about the next seventh location for US troops. Six have already been agreed - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence after meeting with John Bolton, US National Security Advisor.

Poland and the Czech Republic have signed an agreement on cooperation of their military aviation. This is the result of today's Polish-Czech consultations and meetings of Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak and Lubomir Metnar, the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic.

- We talked with Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer about the challenges facing NATO. These are, of course, challenges related to aggressive Russian policy. (...)
