Pawel Bejda, Secretary of State

Paweł Bejda

Born on October 13, 1962 in Lowicz. 

Alumni of the Mechanical Department of the Agricultural and Technical Academy in Olsztyn. He also completed postgraduate studies - at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw in the field of trade and management of real estates and managerial studies at the Technical University of Łódź. 

He is a member of the Voluntary Fire Brigade in the Łowicz district. 

In 1988, he was employed at the State Machinery Center in Łowicz. From 1990 to 1991, he served as deputy president of the " Łowiczanka" Work Cooperative of Production and Services, and then headed a private enterprise until 2002.

From 2002 to 2006 he served as deputy mayor of Łowicz. In 2007 he became director of the Provincial Traffic Center in Skierniewice. In 2006 and 2010, he was elected as an councilor of the Łowicz district.

In 2012, he assumed the position of deputy governor of Łódź. In the 2014 elections, he won a seat as a councilor of the Łódź Voivodeship Assembly of the 5th term. On December 1, 2014, he was appointed as a member of the Łódź Voivodeship Executive Board.

In 2015, he ran in the parliamentary elections as the leader of the PSL election list in the Sieradz district, where he won a seat in the Sejm of the 8th term, while in 2019 he won a seat in the Sejm of the 9th term. In 2023, he was elected to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland for the third consecutive time, running as a candidate for the Third Way (Polish: Trzecia Droga) coalition. 

He has been a delegate of the Polish Sejm to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly for 8 years. 

Married, he has two sons.
