PMC Romania

While being a host nation for the US-led battle group in Poland, we also send our contingents to Latvia (eFP) and Romania (tFP).

With its presence in Romania, Poland confirms its solidarity and determination in building a common Allied defense and deterrence potential.

Poland declared deployment to Romania of the military unit as part of NATO's tailored Forward Presence. The multinational brigade was created on the basis of the Romanian brigade and the headquarters of the Multinational Division South-East.

PMC Romania is operationally subordinated to the multinational battlegroup which is a part of the Romanian 2nd Infantry Brigade and through NATOs chain of command responds to the Multinational Division South-East located in Bucharest and further to the Joint Force Command HQ in Naples (Italy) which is responsible for the tFP deployment.
In the national chain of command the PMC reports to the Minister of National Defence, through the Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces.
