Poland and Armenia strengthen military cooperation

The cooperation in soldiers' education, the exchange of experience between universities and the matter of establishing a military attaché's office in Warsaw were the main topics of discussion between the Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz and Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Defence of Armenia.
Talks between the Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz and Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Defence of Armenia took place in Warsaw on 6 May.
As the Polish Minister of National Defence noted, Armenia is a friend of Poland, and a country with which Poland wishes to develop cooperation.
We support the pro-European and pro-Western actions of the Prime Minister’s Pashinian’s government (…). I am interested in further close cooperation aimed at building peace, security, the strength of our countries, and trade.

In his speech, Minister S. Papikyan has expressed gratitude for the military cooperation with Poland so far. He has said that Armenia is interested in the enhancement of this cooperation and making it more active. One sign of that is the ongoing creation of the military attaché’s office in Warsaw.
