Poland and Greece tighten cooperation

Bilateral cooperation and the security situation on the eastern and southern flanks were the main topics discussed by Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense with the Minister of Defense of Greece Panagiotis Kammenos.

On Tuesday, February 20, at the invitation of the head of the Ministry of National Defense, a delegation of the Greek Defense Ministry visited Poland. The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of National Defense in Warsaw, was also attended by Secretary of State Sebastian Chwałek and Undersecretary of State Tomasz Szatkowski.

During the talks, matters raised during the last meeting of NATO defense ministers, which took place on February 14 in Brussels, were discussed.

Defense ministers signed a framework agreement on mutual cooperation in the field of defense. The document will allow the development of joint activities in the areas of logistics, military education, scientific research and others.
