We invite everyone to the squares of cities and towns, to local military units and to squares, parks and streets. Together, let's celebrate the feast of our soldiers and Poland's victory in the fight against the Russian invader in 1920. This holiday is a holiday for all of us.

On a picnic together!

We will organize several dozen military picnics throughout the country, where you will be able to see what is best in the Polish Army - modern military equipment, military music, pea soup and, of course, the heroes of the day - soldiers of all types of Polish armed forces. There will be attractions for children, teenagers and adults. There is a place for everyone and something interesting for everyone. See for yourself what the Polish Army looks like today. Or maybe you will join our ranks?

 

A celebration with music in the foreground

For those who like marches, fanfares and military songs, as well as for everyone who simply likes good music, we have prepared many musical attractions. Military songs will resound at picnics throughout the country. Special events will be - "Singing soldier's songs together" (13.08) and "NATO Military Orchestras Festival" (15/08) at Piłsudski Square in Warsaw, as well as "NATO military song concert" (15/08) in Elbląg. You will be able to hear military pieces, but also have fun with a slightly "lighter" repertoire. It's definitely worth being here.

Or maybe a sports holiday?

The tradition of running and sports competitions on important holidays is still alive - that's why you will be able to run not in one, but in two runs during the Polish Army Day. Classic runners are invited to the "Five with the soldier" run (14.08) at the PGE Narodowy Stadium, and those with a more extreme passion - to Ossów for the "Falcon - Iron Run" run (13.08). And that's not all, at military picnics, our youngest will be able to test themselves on the obstacle course run by our athletes and Olympians-soldiers. Fun guaranteed.

Interesting exhibitions

Thematic exhibitions will be elements of military picnics. Many dimensions of the army will be presented, among others, by The Military Center for Civic Education, the Central Military Library, the Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Army and the Polish Army Museum. We invite you to the PGE Narodowy Stadium, the Polish Army Museum and Piłsudski Square. The unique exhibition will be on display at Piłsudski Square, where on the August 15th  souvenirs of the head of the Ministry of National Defence from visits and delegations will be presented. It's worth seeing.

Or maybe to the cinema? - we encourage all cinema lovers to join our cinema. On August the 15th , at picnics in the "front cinema", you will be able to see the best Polish war movies of recent years. Start from 4 p.m. we'll see you there!

Field mail

On this day, many soldiers are constantly guarding  our borders, participate in training courses, training grounds and missions. Let's remember about them, but also about Polish veterans. For this purpose, we will launch a special field mail on this day - through it, you will be able to write a few words to our soldiers.

We will not say where and how, but a moment before the Polish Army Day, we will surprise you with a coffee, on a walk, in the city. See you later!

August the 14th  - Sunday

11.00 - 18.00 - PGE National Stadium in Warsaw - "Five with a soldier" run, demonstrations of military equipment, reconstructed military base from a mission, concert of a military orchestra, spectacle of the Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Army, field post office, runs and play zones for children, recruitment point , soldier's pea soup and many others

August the 15th  - Monday

11.00 - 18.00 - Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square and the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw - equipment demonstrations, exhibitions, promotional stands, games and activities

12.00 - Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square in Warsaw – ceremonial changing of the guard in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and presentation of general nominations

2.00 p.m.-4.30 p.m. - Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square in Warsaw - NATO Military Orchestras Festival (with the participation of Polish orchestras, including the Representative Orchestra of the Polish Army and foreign ones - Romania, Latvia, Slovakia)
