Silna Biało-Czerwona - See the grand parade of Polish Armed Forces Day

26.07.2023

August 15 is a special date not only for Polish soldiers, but also for all Poles. On this day we celebrate the Polish Armed Forces Day, established in commemoration of the Warsaw Battle of 1920, victorious over the Bolsheviks, which went down in the pages of history as the "Miracle on the Vistula." Silna Biało-Czerwona [English: Great White & Red] - under this slogan the Central Celebration of the Polish Armed Forces Day and the 103rd anniversary of the Warsaw Battle will be held.

Let's meet at the Grand Parade in Warsaw. After 3 years, the largest parade of the Polish Armed Forces will return.  We will present 200 units of Polish and foreign military equipment and 92 aircraft assisted by 2,000 servicemen and women. Soldiers of all branches of the Polish Armed Forces will present the most modern equipment, of Polish, Korean and American manufacture, which has been purchased in recent years.

Among the equipment on display will be M1A1 Abrams tanks bought from the US, K2 tanks and K9 self-propelled howitzers purchased from South Korea, HIMARS rocket launchers, Krab self-propelled cannon howitzers, Turkish Bayraktar TB2 combat drones, and Patriot air defense sets. Polish-made equipment will include new Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles, Rosomak armored personnel carriers and Rak self-propelled mortars, as well as Baobab-K erratic mine-laying vehicles and Zmija light reconnaissance vehicles. There will also be a display of the craftsmanship of Polish pilots, who will present as many as 92 aircraft in the Polish sky, where you will be able to observe the new FA-50, as well as F-16 multi-role combat aircraft and drones.

On that day, starting at 12:00 p.m., we also invite you to a military picnic at the PGE National Stadium's grasslands. A dynamic demonstration of soldiers' training, battlefield medicine and first aid is a guaranteed excitement and experience that will give you an idea of what a soldier's daily day of service looks like. There will also be an opportunity to sample traditional military pea soup.

We invite you to join us in celebrating!
