ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1/ZPBSU/2025 REGARDING THE ACQUISITION OF TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS IN THE DOMAIN OF UNMANNED AERIAL WEAPONS SYSTEMS

Pursuant to Ministry of National Defence Decision 123/MON of 12 September 2025, the Inspectorate of Unmanned Combat Systems announces a procedure for the acceptance of applications from manufacturers of unmanned solutions on the organization and modes of testing in the Polish Armed Forces.

The decision regulates in the Ministry of National Defence the procedure and division of competences in the field of testingunmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned combat systems in the Polish Armed Forces, as well as measures to combat unmanned aerial vehicles and means of combating unmanned combat systems, which is based on the following assumptions:

1. The testing is carried out on the basis of organisational unitsof the Ministry of National Defence referred to in Article2(10) of the Act of 11 March 2022 on the Defence of the Homeland (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2025, item 825, as amended).

2. Testing is distributed and can be carried out simultaneouslyin many locations across the country.

3. Testing is carried out in a fair, transparent and competitiveprocedure.

4. Entities providing technical solutions for testing shall be subject to simplified verification by the competent services, providing counterintelligence cover. 

5. The Inspectorate of Unmanned Combat Systems of the General Command of the Armed Forces (IWBSU) isresponsible for coordinating the acquisition processes and setting directions.
