Poland in NATO

On September 26 - 27, on the initiative of the Permanent Delegation of Poland to NATO, an external meeting of the NATO Political Committee was held in Poland. Over 30 representatives of allied countries and the NATO International Secretariat took part in it. It was the first external meeting of the Committee since its resumption of work in 2014.

On September 23 in New York, Poland's President Andrzej Duda and US President Donald Trump signed a Joint Declaration on Advancing Defense Cooperation between Poland and the United States of America.

Government Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastructure, Piotr Naimski took part in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council on Russia's energy policy.

Poland's role in NATO, cooperation on major security and military issues, and the challenges facing the Alliance in the coming months were the main topics of the meeting of the Permanent Representative of Poland to NATO with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance.
