Poland in Nigeria

On 2^nd March Amb. M. Cygan delivered a lecture on diplomatic and economic relations between Poland & Nigeria as a special guest of the Ambassadorial Forum organised by a prestigious Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).

The Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, Prof. Eghosa Osaghae, has stressed the need to rebuild and expand economic relationship between Nigeria and Poland.

Speaking on the theme of the lecture: “Diplomatic and Economic Relations between Nigeria & Poland”, Amb. Cygan said that Poland’s 1989 reforms restored political freedom, local governance and individual agency before economic change. He also underlined that people-to-people relations were among the most important pillars of the Poland-Nigeria renewal.
