Amb. M. Cygan presents letter of credence to president B. Tinubu

On 4 December 2025, Ambassador Michał Cygan had the honour to present letter of credence to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a ceremony at the State House in Abuja.

During the ceremony President B. Tinubu addressed the diplomats urging them to actively engage with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in all areas of shared interest, noting that he maintains an open-door policy. The Ambassador of Japan, Suzuki Hideo, who spoke on behalf of the diplomatic corps members underlined Nigeria’s contributions to economic prosperity and political stability in the region, including through ECOWAS.
