Celebrations of the National Day of the Constitution of 3rd May and the Day of Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad

On the 2nd of May we celebrated the Day of Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad together with our local Polish Community and Friends of Poland. This was also an occasion to commemorate the National Day of the Constitution of 3rd May.
Amb. M. Cygan took the opportunity to evoke the events of 3rd May 1791 that lead to establishing the second constitution in the world – the constitution of Poland. He also expressed happiness on the occasion of gathering of members of Polish Community living in Nigeria, stressing the importance of preserving Polish traditions among Poles living abroad.
To further express our appreciation to Polish traditions, we had an opportunity to take pictures in traditional Polish folk attires.
