Meeting with Gov. of Anambra State H.E. Ch. Soludo

On 23-26.04 this year, a delegation of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abuja lead by M. Cygan (Ambassador) with participation of P. Zając (3rd Secretary) took place to Awka, the capital of Anambra State. The delegation took part in the convocation ceremony of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU). Amb. M. Cygan gave the inaugural lecture. In addition, he met with the Governor of Anambra State, HE Charles Soludo CFR,  HE Min. for Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, B. Odumegwu-Ojukwu and HRH Eze Eri, the traditional ruler of the Ibo people.

Talks were held with the authorities of the COOU about establishing cooperation with Polish universities. Meetings with the Governor and the Minister of Foreign Affairs focused on the possibilities of Polish investments in Anambra State and high level bilateral visits.
