Poland in Nigeria

Deputy Head of Mission Mr. M. Klósak had an honour to be a special guest at the 25^th Silver Jubilee of the Nasarawa State University in Keffi. In recognition of long-standing collaboration between Nasarawa State University and universities in Poland, dating back to 2011, the award was presented to the Deputy Head of Mission who had an opportunity to personally talk about recent developments in academic collaboration with Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Prof. S.H. Liman and Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, H.E. Emir of Keffi Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III. As part of the Erasmus+ staff and student exchange program, Nasarawa State University in Keffi maintains relations with the University of Zielona Góra and the University of Economics in Katowice. At the Nasarawa State University in Keffi, the first institute of European studies in Nigeria was established, named after the Polish researcher Bruno Hołyst, and at the same university Prof. Paweł Boski currently lectures on psychology.
