Visit of the Governor of Katsina State D.U. Radda to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abuja

On 26.01.2026, the Governor of Katsina State, D. U. Radda, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. The governor expressed the state government's readiness to build a strategic, mutually beneficial partnership with Poland in key sectors such as agriculture, livestock, security, education, mining, technology, culture, and investment. The Governor also expressed his readiness to establish cooperation with Polish universities through exchange programs, joint research, staff capacity building and institutional links.
Ambassador M. Cygan said that Poland can offer support in the field of security, education, agriculture, energy, information technology, cybersecurity, mining, railways, space technology, pharmaceuticals, defence equipment and food production. He pointed to security and education as priority areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, it was agreed to set up a joint technical committee to identify specific areas of cooperation, coordinate activities and facilitate visits by investors, universities and institutions from both sides.
