Poland in Saudi Arabia

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland welcomes the publication of materials from the Saudi newspaper Arab News in the Polish language. This initiative constitutes an important step in the development of media communication between Poland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and facilitates direct access for Polish readers to information concerning the Gulf region.

The project was made possible thanks to the engagement of the Arab News editorial team, in particular Editor-in-Chief Faisal J. Abbas, as well as journalist Lama Al-Haidari, who conducted the accompanying interview. The promotional activities surrounding the Polish-language edition were also supported by the Minister of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Domański, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Robert Rostek, underscoring the importance of the initiative for bilateral relations. Providing content in Polish helps bring the Saudi perspective on international, economic and social matters closer to Polish readers, while also supporting dialogue between societies.

The growing presence of information about Saudi Arabia in the Polish language reflects the dynamic development of bilateral relations, encompassing political, economic and cultural cooperation. Access to reliable press materials in one’s native language facilitates the building of mutual understanding and interest in cooperation among expert, business and academic communities in both countries.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland expresses its appreciation to the Arab News editorial team for this initiative addressed to Polish audiences and for its contribution to strengthening the information dialogue between Poland and Saudi Arabia.
