Celebration of Poland's National Independence Day in Jeddah
26.11.2025
On 26 November, a ceremonial celebration of Poland’s National Independence Day took place in Jeddah, organised by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Jeddah, H.E. Hassana Omar Attar.
The event was attended by representatives of the Polish community, the diplomatic corps, as well as numerous Saudi friends of Poland, reflecting the close and friendly relations between our countries. Among the guests of honour were, among others, the Consuls General of the USA, Germany, and Singapore, as well as representatives of local Polish community organisations.
A special guest of the event was Bartek Marszałek, a world-class Formula 1 H2O powerboat racer, a pride of Poland on the international waters. His presence added a unique sporting dimension to the celebration and was warmly received by the participants.
The gathering provided an opportunity to jointly celebrate the 107th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, as well as to engage in discussions, exchange experiences, and strengthen bonds between Poles living in Saudi Arabia and friends of our country.
The Embassy of the Republic of Poland expresses its sincere gratitude to the Honorary Consul of Poland in Jeddah for organising the event, and to all guests for their participation and for celebrating this important day for Poland together.
