EUNIC Short Movie Night in Riyadh

EUNIC – the European Union National Institutes for Culture cluster in Saudi Arabia – invites you to the EUNIC Short Movie Night in Riyadh. The event will feature films from Austria, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Italy. Short films in national languages contain English subtitles. Poland will be represented by the film Zwyczaje Pingwinów (Penguin Habits) directed by Jakub Poterała.
‘Mum saves penguins’ – this is how Emilia's son Antek would describe her work. The day has come when Emilia is leaving for a research station in Antarctica, and the boy has to stay at home under his grandfather's care. When the situation begins to spiral out of control, Emilia faces a difficult dilemma – will she be able to reconcile her dreams and professional ambitions with her role as a mother?
