Poland in Saudi Arabia

In response to the heightened security situation in the Middle East, another evacuation operation for citizens of the Republic of Poland has been carried out.

Polish Armed Forces transport aircraft and a civilian aircraft chartered by the Government of the Republic of Poland safely arrived in Warsaw. In total, 282 Polish citizens evacuated from Qatar have returned to Poland after being transported overland to Riyadh.

Two military aircraft departed from Riyadh, carrying 106 evacuated individuals requiring medical assistance.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Riyadh actively participated in coordinating the evacuation efforts, maintaining constant contact with Polish citizens and supporting the organization of their safe departure from the region.

The operation was conducted in cooperation with several state institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, and the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.
