Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen

On 13 February 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Robert Rostek, was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zindani.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed a congratulatory letter from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Donald Tusk, on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister of Yemen. The discussion focused on the current regional situation and security challenges in the region.

The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the Yemeni authorities and to the Prime Minister personally for the support provided during the recent evacuation of Polish citizens from the island of Socotra. The meeting confirmed the willingness to maintain further contact and cooperation between Poland and the Republic of Yemen.
