Poland in Saudi Arabia

A delegation of the National Development Bank (Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego) visited Riyadh on May 18-20. Vice President and member of the Management Board Jarosław Dąbrowski and Executive Director Piotr Jabłoński  arrived in Saudi Arabia to establish cooperation with key Saudi banks and investment funds, as well as to gauge the needs of Polish companies investing in the Saudi market.

The visit was the result of, among other things, a series of seminars for Polish entrepreneurs interested in the Saudi market co-organized by the Embassy and the Saudi Ministry of Investment. The bank representatives met with:

• Public Investment Fund, the largest Saudi investment fund;
• Saudi Exim bank, the counterpart of Polish National Development Bank;
• General Authority of Foreign Trade (GAFT);
• MISA representatives responsible for international cooperation;
• Riyadh Bank, the fourth largest Saudi financial institution;
• Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Business Council, Mr. Abdullah Abu Dhabeel;
• Othman Al-Tamimi & Co. law firm;
• representatives of Polish business in Saudi Arabia.
