We are pleased to inform that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland has launched a new platform: Anti-COVID Offer by Polish Business that presents actual information on products and solutions offered by Polish entrepreneurs and scientists that may be helpful in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Saturday issue of the Italian daily La Repubblica published an article by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki regarding the Easter hope for a better tomorrow, Polish-Italian friendship, Polish gestures of sympathy for Italy, important anniversaries in 2020 and the need for European solidarity.

On 10 April 2010, a special TU-154M plane with the President of Poland Lech Kaczyński and the First Lady Maria Kaczyńska on board took off from Warsaw to Smolensk. On that very day the members of the official delegation were to participate in the ceremonies taking place in the Katyn War Cemetery, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the crime committed there. The aircraft carried 96 people, including members of the highest state authorities, representatives of various social circles and religious denominations, high-ranking military commanders and the plane’s crew. All the flight passengers died in the air disaster which took place during landing at the airport near Smolensk.

The Embassy of Poland in Riyadh and the Polish Nation support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic and praise the measures taken to protect the citizens and residents against the disease.

On the occasion of the World Health Day we especially thank Polish doctors and healthcare representatives for their help and efforts in providing health services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
