Poland in Saudi Arabia

In its weekend edition of 16–17 October 2026, the Saudi daily Okaz (عكاظ) published an article highlighting Poland's position on the recent Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, featuring remarks by the Polish Ambassador to Riyadh, Robert Rostek.

The article, entitled “Polish Ambassador to Okaz: Houthi Attacks on the Kingdom Are Unacceptable,” presented Poland's unequivocal condemnation of actions threatening the security of Saudi Arabia and its people.

Ambassador Robert Rostek emphasized Poland's solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of current threats and stressed the importance of regional security and stability. He also highlighted Polish-Saudi cooperation, including in the fields of security and defence.

The article, featured in the newspaper's local news section, is another example of the Saudi media's interest in Poland's position on the evolving security situation in the Middle East.
