Poland in Saudi Arabia

The Polish-Saudi Parliamentary Group headed by Chairwoman Ewa Kołodziej visited Riyadh from 13 to 19 February. The group came at the invitation of the Saudi-Polish Friendship Committee of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which had visited Poland in 2022.

The delegation was accompanied throughout its stay in Riyadh by the Chairman of the respective friendship committee, Mr Issa Al-Otaibi. During their stay in KAS, the group held a number of meetings with Saudi institutions and business representatives.
 
On 16 February this year, the delegation met with:

• Royal Commission of the City of Riyadh,
• Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce,
• Saudi Business Council and the
• Ministry of Economy and Planning.

 On 17 February, the group visited:

• The Saudi-Polish Friendship Committee at the Shura Council 
• Estidamah Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute, where a meeting with Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ahmed bin Saleh al Khamshy was held.

On 18 February, the delegation held meetings at:

• Ministry of Defence (Deputy Minister Gen. Salman Al-Harbi)
• Ministry of Energy.
