Poland in Saudi Arabia

On April 30 2025, a reception was held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland on the occasion of the National Day, where the guest of honor was the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz (brother of the Heir to the Throne, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud). 

The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a reminder that high-level political contacts between Poland and Saudi Arabia have a history of more than 90 years in practice. Prince and later King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited Warsaw in 1932.

On this occasion, slides were presented showing key events in Polish-Saudi bilateral relations, both historical and contemporary.The event was very well attended, ca. 300 people from the diplomatic corps, the business community, as well as the local Polish community. Local media were present at the reception and prepared a video report of the event. Among the sponsors of the event, were companies such as Orlen, Auron, PGZ, Comarch, LUG Light or the Wieliczka Salt Mine and LOT Polish Airlines.
