    The CBA officers have detained 20 persons, who in the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw heard charges including using fraudulent invoices. The value of the invoices only in this thread of the case exceeds PLN 7.5 million, while the amount of the invoices revealed so far in the course of the whole proceedings amounts to almost PLN 50 million.

    The Ukrainian side informs about a cyberattack. Its course and methods applied are in line with the Russian Federation’s actions against the West. During the aggressor’s attack, cyber tools were used, websites of important Ukrainian state institutions were hacked and a statement containing disinformation was displayed on state websites.

    Detained in Spain, Joanna S., suspected of fraudulent trading in fictitious works of art, was extradited to Poland under the European Arrest Warrant and placed in one of the detention centers in Warsaw. The arrest of the suspect in October 2021 was the result of joint activities of the Internal Security Agency, the Prosecutor's Office and the Police.

    The situation along the Polish-Belarusian border remains tense. The first days of the new year have shown that the Lukashenko regime continues its aggressive hybrid operation against Poland and the EU. Further attempts to cross the border illegally are reported every day. During these attempts Polish officers and soldiers are attacked by aggressive groups of migrants, supported by the Belarusian services.
