On Nov. 17th, 2022, Poland’s Minister-Coordinator of Intelligence and Security Services Mariusz Kamiński held a meeting in Warsaw with the U.S. Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines.

Today in Warsaw, Poland’s Minister – Special Services Coordinator Mariusz Kamiński met with Director of CIA William Burns, to discuss the current security situation in the light of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The decision to withdraw Russian troops from the west bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Oblast does not mean a breakthrough during Russia's war against Ukraine. There are also no signs that this decision will change Russia's strategy. Russia continues its hostilities, while its main goals remain unchanged - it is about destroying the present shape of the Ukrainian state and its political domination over Ukraine.

The officers of the Internal Security Agency detained in Gdańsk and its vicinity another two people who were involved in helping Joanna S. and her son Mikael S. - organizers of fictitious large-scale trade in works of art.

Residents see that action against Ukraine is weakening defense capabilities in the Kaliningrad Region. Such awareness will grow.

Russian institutions responsible for carrying out information warfare activities continuously monitor the situation in Western countries. They identify those actions and speeches that can be used to benefit Russian interests and propaganda efforts. The Kremlin's propaganda publicizes opinions and speeches favorable to itself. But it also manipulates the picture of events to pursue its hostile objectives.

The inhabitants of the Kaliningrad Oblast can see better and better that the Kremlin is looking for "cannon fodder".

Russia is expanding its influence in Africa in order to achieve global political ambitions and in search of economic benefits. The African continent is also becoming a battleground for Moscow against the West. By becoming involved in local conflicts, Russia is fueling anti-Western sentiment, destabilizing the region and working to make it dependent on itself in terms of security and economy, among other things.

The pseudo-referendums held in the occupied territories of Ukraine are another stage of the military aggression conducted by Russia against Ukraine. Since February 2022, the Kremlin has been using military action to destroy the Ukrainian state and commit genocide against Ukrainians. It is now using administrative action to sanction Russia's occupation and annexation of parts of Ukraine.

The latest achievements of the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefield confirm the correctness of the decision to hand over weapons to Ukraine, taken in the early phase of Russian aggression. It does not mean though that the war has reached a turning point. Russians are preparing themselves to a next phase of the invasion.
