Russian disinformation activities against Poland focuses on arousing hostility between Poles and Ukrainians. Some of the messages are attempts to convince Poles that by accepting refugees from Ukraine they are exposing themselves to economic crisis, security risks and social problems.

In two separate cases, the preliminary proceedings carried out by Poland’s civilian counter-intelligence agency - the ABW - resulted in handing up indictments against three men on charges of spying or complicity in spying for Russia or Belarus.

As we can see clearly, the war against Ukraine continues. More media and intelligence information shows that Russia is trying to continue the invasion, but neither Russian aggressor, nor Ukraine defense is able to make a breakthrough on a battlefield.

A joint operation of the Polish Border Guard and the Internal Security Agency (ABW) has led to detention of individuals who organized illegal crossing of the border of the Republic of Poland for migrants coming from the Middle East and Africa.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has signed a new ordinance that extends on the whole territory of Poland the second security alert BRAVO and the third security alert CRP (CHARLIE-CRP). Both security alerts will be valid through 15 May, 2022 (11:59 p.m.).

Two further persons charged with influence peddling. The investigation conducted by the CBA and the Public Prosecutor's Office involves over 20 suspects and charges amounting to over PLN 4 million of financial gains.
