Important notice for students
03.06.2025
In preparation for an increased demand for visa appointments due to the upcoming academic year, the Consular Section is seeking cooperation from all applicants to comply with the below mentioned guidelines.
Booking an appointment:
Appointments can only be booked via www.e-konsulat.gov.pl. It is not possible to book appointments via email, phone, walk-in or through any third parties or agencies. We strongly discourage use of any unauthorized third party providers who may offer booking such appointments. All students are encouraged to book their appointments individually, by themselves, to avoid any discrepancies in personal or travel data and avoid any potential misunderstandings. Application containing personal data errors may be deemed inadmissible
Slots opening schedule:
Until June 30th, 2025, applicants can use any regular slots for ‘national visa’.
Starting from July 1st, 2025 until further notice, students (first and second cycle studies) must only book special slots named ‘National visa – studies’. Student visa applications will not be accepted during any other type of appointments. This is to ensure availability of national visa slots for other travelers, such as workers or family members.
Additional dedicated slots will be open for participants of doctoral studies, student exchange programs, ERASMUS, NAWA, ECS, Horizon (‘National visa – doctoral and exchange program’. If those are unavailable at the time of booking, such applicants can book regular ‘National visa – studies’ slots.
Appointments for student visa applications (all types) will be opened in www.e-konsulat.gov.pl as follows:
- for appointments in July, the slots will open on June 9th and June 16th, at 10:00 am.
- for appointments in August, the slots will open on July 7th and July 14th, at 10:00 am.
- for appointments in September, the slots will open on August 4th and August 11th, at 10:00 am.
Based on the current demand, additional appointments may be opened in the meantime, of which the applicants will be informed via www.gov.pl/thailand.
We suggest you to check the website regularly for any updates.
Please note that it is not possible to reschedule the appointment after booking. If you cannot come to your scheduled appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible, so that it can be used by other applicants.
Preparing the documents:
See the visa information on www.gov.pl/thailand/visas and read the checklist of required documents thoroughly. Make sure to use an up-to-date checklist. Do not use checklists from previous years or any other sources than the Embassy’s website.
Remember that the documents are not returned after processing. Keep that in mind when preparing your application.
Should you have any questions, you may contact us via bangkok.consul@msz.gov.pl. We reserve the right not to respond to enquiries related to: booking appointments, list of required documents, return of documents after processing, processing time etc., as these topics are covered in detail on our website www.gov.pl/thailand/visas
