Competition Announcement to Secure Funding from the Project "Supporting children and youth of the Polish community abroad and Poles living outside Poland 2023"

The Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education and Science has announced that the Institute for the Development of Polish Language st. Maksymilian Maria Kolbe, on June 15, 2023, declared an open tender for the project "Supporting children and youth of the Polish community abroad and Poles living outside Poland 2023"
Offers can be submitted until June 26, 2023, 15:00. The expected date of announcing the results of the competition is July 30, 2023.
Entities who are legally established and eligible in accordance to Polish law are encourage to apply in Poland, carrying out activities consistent with the tasks of the Institute, referred to in art. 3 sec. 2 of the Act on the Institute, analogous to the Polish community competitions of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
Offers to be considered for the competition should be submitted electronically via the application generator available on the Institute's website.
Area 1 – Educational initiatives and support for the activities of educational institutions.
Within this area, the following will be co-financed:
School events (academies, independence day, picnics, jubilees and anniversaries, etc.);
Educational campaigns (including: olympiads, dictations, workshops for students, lectures, etc.);
Trips in the country of residence related to Polish history and trips to Poland (during the school year);
Events related to the promotion of the Polish language and other initiatives supporting the development of Polish diaspora and Polish education abroad;
Maintaining the structures of educational organizations and school matrices.
Area 2 - First year voucher - Support for first grade students in Polish and Polish community schools.
Within the area, the following forms of support for first grade students will be co-financed:
School supplies for first grade students (e.g. school bag, stationery, pencil case, shoe bag, lunch boxes and water bottles, paints, pens, scissors and other items);
One-time financial scholarships for first grade students.
Area 3 - Senior High School Voucher - Support for high school students.
Within the area, support may be provided to students of finalized grades who took their final exams in Polish at certified Polish schools in Poland or abroad, by obtaining a one-time scholarship through selected entities.”
Bids submitted under the project may be implemented until 31 December 2023.
