Polish diplomatic and consular missions in the United States are closed on Saturdays and Sundays as well as on official Polish holidays and U.S. Federal Holidays that fall on weekdays, which in 2026 include:

January 1 (Thursday) – New Year's Day 

January 6 (Tuesday) - Święto Trzech Króli (Epiphany)

January 19 (Monday) – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the Day of the Inauguration of the President of the United States of America

February 16 (Monday) – Washington’s Birthday

April 6 (Monday) – Drugi Dzień Wielkiej Nocy (the Second Day of Easter)

May 1 (Friday) - Święto Pracy (Labor Day)

May 25 (Monday) – Memorial Day

June 4 (Thursday) – Boże Ciało (Corpus Christi Day)

June 19 (Friday) – Juneteenth National Independence Day

July 3 (Friday) – substitute holiday for July 4 (Saturday, U.S. Independence Day) 

August 14 (Friday) - substitute holiday for August 15 (Saturday, Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary)

September 7 (Monday) – Labor Day

October 12 (Monday) – Columbus Day

November 11 (Wednesday) - Poland's Independence Day and U.S. Veterans Day

November 26 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day

December 24 (Thursday) - Christmas Eve

December 25 (Friday) – Christmas Day

December 28 (Monday) – substitute holiday for December 26 (Saturday, Second Day of Christmas)
