In celebration of the centennial of Maria Skłodowska-Curie's first visit to the United States, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., has created an original exhibition, "The Lady of Radium: The Life of Maria Skłodowska-Curie." The exhibition focuses on the life and legacy of the two-time Nobel Prize winning scientist, her support of Poland’s scientific development and her ties to its scientific community.
