On Thursday, October 19, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Venezuela participated in the second-semester edition of the Cerro Verde Book and Reading Fair, with a discussion about the book “Poland in Venezuela: Life Stories.” The activity was presented by the Embassy’s Assistant for Public Diplomacy and Promotion, together with the book’s author, Inés Muñoz Aguirre. The event placed special emphasis on the stories of Polish migration collected in the book, highlighting how migrants adapted to Venezuelan culture and underscoring the contributions of the Polish community in cultural, social, scientific, and gastronomic spheres.

Throughout the event, the value of Polish history and culture was emphasized as elements of identity and as a bridge for cultural exchange between Poland and Venezuela. The Embassy’s participation reinforced its commitment to promoting Polish culture and sharing stories that connect communities and generations.

The discussion at Cerro Verde not only provided information and knowledge about Polish migration but also created a space for cultural exchange, fostering appreciation for Poland’s legacy and its influence on Venezuelan society.
