Everyone has the right to submit a request to provide digital accessibility of a website, mobile app or any element thereof. It is also possible to request to provide information in alternative forms, e.g. reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should contain the details of a person submitting the request, an indication to which website or mobile application it refers and the method of contact. If a person submitting the request reports a need to receive the information in an alternative form, they should also determine the form of this information.

A public entity should implement the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity should immediately inform when it is possible to implement the request, but this period may not be longer than 2 months. If it is not to ensure accessibility, the public entity may offer an alternative method of access to the information.

Where the entity refuses to implement the request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be submitted against such action.

Once all possibilities are exhausted, it is also possible to send the complaint to the Commissioner for Human Rights.
