Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Albania

Monika Zuchniak-Pazdan (born on July 1st, 1974 in Nowy Sącz, Poland)

Graduate of Business Management and International Relations and Diplomacy at Business High School - National Louis University /WSB-NLU/.

She started her career in public administration in 2002 at the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, where she was involved in the implementation of the EU Culture 2000 aid programme in Poland.

In 2003 she decided to return to Nowy Sącz. For the next four years she was an assistant at the Political Studies Faculty at the WSB-NLU.

In 2006 she started working at the Chancellery of the Sejm.

In 2007 she started her diplomatic career first as the parliamentary adviser to the Minister and then took the position of the Deputy Director in Promotion Department.

She left for Bulgaria for her first mission, taking up the post of Consul General in Varna.

In the years 2008-2012 she worked at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa and Tallinn.

In 2012, she returned to the MFA and performed her duties in the Consular Department.

In the years 2013-2017 she worked at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut, Riga and Vilnius.

In 2017 she returned to the MFA and resumed her duties in the Consular Department. After a year she was appointed as the Director of the Director General’s Office.

On April 1, 2021, Monika Zuchniak-Pazdan became the head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Tirana.
