    On April 19th, at the Balkan Jazz Showcase 2026 festival in Tirana one of Poland's most acclaimed jazz guitarists, Rafał Sarnecki performed with his quintet. The band presented music from their latest album, "A View From The Treetop". The concert is part of the international JAZZ PO POLSKU "Around the World” project.

    On March 26-27, Wojciech Unolt, Head of the Polish Embassy, and Consul Sebastian Sałkiewicz visited Shkodër. The visit aimed to establish contact with local authorities and partners with a view to implementing bilateral cooperation projects, as well as joint development and cultural projects. One of the activities planned by the embassy is to commemorate the Polish doctor Danuta Kościuszko-Jukniu, who worked at the hospital in Shkodër in the 1970s.

    On February 19-21, Tirana hosted the 11th edition of Memory Days, a recurring event dedicated to commemorating the era of communist totalitarianism in Albania and its victims. Organized annually by the Albanian Institute for Democracy Media and Culture with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Memory Days is primarily a forum for debate on history, the trauma left by communist dictatorships, and its impact on subsequent generations. This year's edition, organized on the 35th anniversary of the toppling of the Enver Hoxha monument in Tirana, brought together historians, experts, and representatives of institutions from Poland, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and other countries.

    On December 14, a festive concert of Polish and international Christmas carols organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland was held at St. Paul's Cathedral in Tirana, performed by the six-member vocal ensemble AdVocem from Warsaw.

    On December 10-12, a group of Polish MPs representing the Polish-Albanian Parliamentary Group visited Albania: Group Chairman Bartosz Romowicz, Vice-Chairmen Piotr Górnikiewicz and Teresa Pamuła, and group member Paweł Śliz. The MPs met with the Speaker of the Albanian Assembly, Niko Peleshi, as well as with a group of deputies from the Democratic Party, including MP Bujar Leskaj, a friend of Poland and a distinguished promoter of Poland in Albania. They also visited the city of Pogradec, where they took part in the grand opening of a new fire station built with financial support from the Polish government.

    On December 9, Wojciech Unolt, Chargé d'Affaires at the Polish Embassy in Tirana, officially handed out certificates of completion of vocational training for prosthetic technicians, implemented as part of the "Polish Aid" development aid program in cooperation with the National Association of Persons with Disabilities "Hope for Life".
