17.12.2025 Tirana, PogradecVisit of representatives of the Polish-Albanian Parliamentary Group to AlbaniaOn December 10-12, a group of Polish MPs representing the Polish-Albanian Parliamentary Group visited Albania: Group Chairman Bartosz Romowicz, Vice-Chairmen Piotr Górnikiewicz and Teresa Pamuła, and group member Paweł Śliz. The MPs met with the Speaker of the Albanian Assembly, Niko Peleshi, as well as with a group of deputies from the Democratic Party, including MP Bujar Leskaj, a friend of Poland and a distinguished promoter of Poland in Albania. They also visited the city of Pogradec, where they took part in the grand opening of a new fire station built with financial support from the Polish government.

09.12.2025 TiranaJoint project against disinformationOn December 3 and 4, 2025, a documentary film entitled "Conflict” premiered. The film, which focuses on the phenomenon of disinformation, foreign manipulation of information, and attempts to interfere with the information space in Albania, was produced by the Albanian fact-checking organization Faktoje with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana. The aim of the project was to raise public awareness and promote reliable, verified information, especially at a time when false narratives are spreading faster than ever.

Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland Mr. Wojciech Unolt officially handed over the equipment to school's principal Mr. Taulant Çala, in the presence of Arta Dollani, Director of Pre-University Education, and Ana Mullanji, a representative of the partner organization, Beyond Barriers Association.

The award, which was ceremoniously presented to the Professor by Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Unolt, is an expression of recognition for the laureate's enormous contribution to the promotion of Polish literature and the development of cultural cooperation between Poland and Albania.

Companies and institutions represented the renewable energy sectors (photovoltaics, wind energy, hydropower, bioenergy, geothermal energy), hydrogen technologies, energy storage and management, e-mobility, smart grids, as well as construction and infrastructure (smart building technologies, infrastructure, and mobility solutions; sustainable construction and materials).
