Celebration of the 3rd of May Constitution Day

On the occasion of the 3rd of May Constitution Day and the Day of Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad, the Embassy of Poland in Tirana organized a gala concert and reception on May 18th.

The event took place at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana, where Polish pianist Kamil Borkowski performed in the concert hall. The artist performed selected works by Fryderyk Chopin and Ignacy Paderewski, as well as one piece from the Albanian repertoire.

Guests at the concert included representatives of the diplomatic corps, international institutions present in Tirana, and the Albanian government (including Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Megi Fino, Deputy Minister of Finance Endrit Yzeiraj, and Deputy Minister of Justice Tedi Dobi), representatives of institutions and organizations collaborating with the institution, as well as Poles living in Albania, Albanian graduates of Polish universities, and members of the Albanian artistic community.

After the concert, guests attended a reception in the Opera House foyer. To mark Poland's National Day, the Opera House was illuminated in red and white.
