Project implementation under the Polish Aid program for children and youth in Bilaj

On 28th of August 2025 took place the inauguration of a sports and recreational facility for children and youth from rural areas of the parish in Bilaj near Tirana. The project was implemented with funds obtained under the Polish Aid program.
The already existing sports and recreational infrastructure on the Bilaj parish grounds was modernized as a part of the project: the playground was renovated with new added elements (slide, swings), football and volleyball fields were prepared. The opening ceremony was attended by Archbishop of Tirana-Durres, Arjan Dodaj, and the Polish parish priest of Bilaj, Dawid Rogala. Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Wojciech Unolt cut the ribbon, officially opening the facility. The event took place as part of the celebration of the patron of the parish, which gathered many local residents .
