During the meeting of Members of Parliament in the Albanian Assembly with the Speaker Niko Peleshi, topics such as Poland's support for Albania's accession to the European Union, bilateral relations, and security issues were discussed.

On December 11, representatives of the Polish-Albanian Parliamentary Group, together with the Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland in Albania, Wojciech Unolt, took part in the grand opening of a new fire station in the city of Pogradec. The station was built thanks to the support of the Polish government, which provided Albania with a total of EUR 2.7 million during a donor conference following the 2019 earthquake. Thanks to this financial support, as part of the Strengthening capacities of Albania’s fire protection and rescue services project, implemented jointly with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), two completely new fire stations were built in Pogradec and Fier. In addition, three new fire trucks and several hundred pieces of rescue equipment, including USAR containers, were donated, and nearly 400 firefighters from all over Albania were trained. During the opening of the fire station in Pogradec, MP Bartosz Romowicz emphasized in his speech the importance of supporting the Albanian fire service in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between Poland and Albania and the safety of Albanian citizens. He then ceremoniously cut the ribbon together with the mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakolli. The opening ceremony of the fire station was covered by the Albanian media.

The MPs also held a meeting at the headquarters of the Albanian Ministry of Internal Affairs with Arben Cara, Director General of Fire and Rescue Services (MZSH). Director Cara thanked the Polish government for its support for the Albanian fire service. He expressed his hope for intensified bilateral cooperation, including in the area of training.
