Poland in Belgium

Last Friday, on March 14^th, we hosted European consuls based in Brussels for the networking seminar organized in the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The event was launched by Katarzyna Skórzyńska, Chargée d’Affaires a.i. who underlined the necessity of close consular cooperation in view of the challenges to protect security and proper consular services to the respective EU citizens living in Belgium.

 

During the talks led by Consul General Dagmara Jasińska our experts: Krzysztof Dębski, the Deputy Head of Consular Cooperation Working Party at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU,  Dir. Jakub Wawrzyniak, Crisis Management Centre of the Polish MFA, Dir. Hans Heeman, Crisis Centre and Secretariat of B-Fast at the Belgian MFA and U.S. Consul General Chris Breding presented insightful information on crisis preparedness
