Polish Night at MaBru

Last friday night several thousand people, including Prince Laurent of Belgium, Mayor of Brussels Philippe Close, visited the 39 stands of Polish producers with Polish food & regional products. Poland was the focus country of this year's MaBru Open Door.

The Polish Night offered culinary and artistic shows, tastings of Polish products and presentations of tourist attractions. The Polish-Ukrainian band Dagadana provided the music, and Jean Bos, a Belgian master of the culinary arts who lives in Poland and was awarded the title of World's Best Cook in 2006 delivered an extraordinary show of molecular gastronomy.

The event was organised by the Mabru - Marché Matinal de Bruxelles / Vroegmarkt van Brussel Polska Agencja Inwestycji i Handlu - PAIH Polska Organizacja Turystyczna together with Polish Partners from the representations of regions Zachodniopomorskie, Dolnośląskie , Lubelskie and Łódzkie as well as LOT Polish Airlines and the Business & Science Poland.
